what is AQUAVIVA?
The term “Aquaviva” is an shortened phrase from the name of a small town in Southern Italy known as “Acquaviva delle fonti” meaning the source of living water. This town has long been associated with vitality, renewal and the steady movement of water, an enduring symbol of growth.
During the mid-20th century, many European migrants flocked to the shores of Australia, looking for a new opportunities and a better life. Some of these migrants were from Acquaviva delle fonti. These migrants brought with them a strong commitment to learning, skill-building and community contribution. These simple concepts helped shape the foundation of Aquaviva Academy - a place of practical knowledge, adaptability and turning experience into teachings.
In the context of our trainings, we are the “source” of training which provides “living water” to our customers - a metaphor that represents knowledge, which flows, grows and adapts. It represents an environment where learning is not static, but dynamic - shaping skills, enabling development and driving measurable change. This idea forms the foundation of Aquaviva Academy.
Our name reflects the belief that learning should remain active and progressive, with each new skill adding momentum. Just as flowing water transforms landscapes over time, purposeful learning transforms capability and performance.
